Second class have been learning about music notes and today they got to play a music version of twister. They made some interesting shapes!!
Second Class have completed the Junior Achievement programme today. They enjoyed learning about many things such as the community, the government and how to vote.
They loved it when Eleni (our volunteer) brought in yummy doughnuts for us all!! The class would like to thank Eleni for all her hard work and fun games.
2nd Class received certificates for completing the SUAS paired reading programme. They went to the Lord Mayor Mansion House to get their certificates. Second class really enjoyed spending time reading with the volunteers who came into us. It was a wonderful trip out.
The second class girls looked amazing dressed in their green, white and orange for the St. Patrick's Day Parade!
On the 28th of January 2nd Class will be starting the paired reading programme with SUAS Educational Development. Four of the girls have already enjoyed the programme and we are the lucky class to be chosen for this term.
Volunteers from A and L Goodbody will come into the school twice a week for the next 8 weeks. Each child will get to do 30 minutes one-on-one reading, every Tuesday and Thursday. This is an amazing opportunity for the girls to practice and show off their reading skills!!
